Thank you for visiting my online blog. Throughout this blog, you will find numerous writing samples on a variety of topics.

Currently, I am a freelance reporter for MLive.com covering high school basketball and general news in the Lansing area. Starting May 6, 2013, I will be joining the Jackson Citizen Patriot on a one-year internship.

As a senior journalism student at Michigan State University, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with a specialization in sports reporting.

I everything I do, I try to follow what my soccer coach, Dennis Darnoi, told me in high school. He said “Share the credit when you succeed. Accept the blame when others stumble. And the only time you ever stop is when you collapse.” In success, it is important to remain humble and recognize the helped received along the way. In failure, it is crucial to not dwell on the past, but rather take a leadership role towards improving the future. In everything you do, it is essential to put forth your ultimate effort and try your very best, until there is nothing left.
